1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to remember your actions and preferences over a period of time, so you don't have to re-enter them every time you come back or navigate between pages.
Similar technologies covered by this policy include:
- Local Storage & Session Storage — browser-based storage for user preferences and session data
- Web beacons / pixels — small images used to track user interactions
- Device identifiers — for security and fraud prevention
2. How We Use Cookies
We use cookies strictly for the functions necessary to deliver the Service. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

3. Cookie Categories
3.1 Essential cookies
These are strictly necessary for the Service to function. Without them, features like logging in, maintaining sessions, and protecting against security threats would not work. These cookies cannot be disabled and do not require your consent.
3.2 Functional cookies
These remember your preferences and choices to provide a more personalized experience. Examples include your UI theme, which dashboard tab you last visited, and whether you want to stay logged in. You can disable these in your browser settings, but some features may not work as expected.
3.3 Analytics cookies
We do not currently use third-party analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) on the VaFe application itself. We use internal server-side logging to monitor Service health, which does not rely on cookies.
Note: when you connect your own Google Analytics property to VaFe via OAuth, your GA4 account's cookies may be set on visitors to your clients' websites — but that is entirely separate from our use of cookies on the VaFe platform.
3.4 Advertising / Marketing cookies
We do not use advertising cookies, marketing pixels, or third-party tracking technologies inside the Service. We do not sell or share your cookie data with advertising networks.
4. Third-Party Cookies
The following third parties may set cookies when you interact with integrated features:
- Payment processors (PayPal, Stripe, Razorpay) set cookies on their payment pages when you check out. These are governed by their own cookie and privacy policies.
- Google OAuth sets cookies when you authorize VaFe to access your Google APIs. These are governed by Google's privacy policy.
We have no control over these third-party cookies and recommend you review the respective providers' policies.
5. Managing Cookies
You can control and manage cookies in several ways:
5.1 Browser settings
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Visit your browser's help page for instructions:
5.2 Impact of blocking cookies
If you block essential cookies, you will not be able to log in or use the Service. If you block functional cookies, your preferences will not be remembered between sessions, but the Service will still work.
6. "Do Not Track" Signals
Because we do not use tracking or advertising cookies, "Do Not Track" browser signals do not materially affect our cookie behavior — we already operate at the equivalent of "Do Not Track enabled" by default. Essential and functional cookies continue to be set as needed to deliver the Service.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in applicable law. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email.
